Help build the Bog Boardwalk Wheelchair Turnabout
We are building a platform at the end of Acton Arboretum's new bog boardwalk. This is to allow wheelchairs to turn around after they have enjoyed the full length of the bog crossing. Please help us break ground on this project by digging post holes to hold up the platform. I will provide tools. Participants need to bring work gloves, insect repellent, and expect to get muddy. Meadow Brush Clearing
Please join the Land Stewards on Sunday November 5, 2 to 4 PM as we defend one of our meadows against forest succession. The town of has now mowed the back meadow at the arboretum which we cleared back in May. So now we can see what remains to be cleared. Clear Downed Trees at Heath Hen Meadow
Those March snowstorms have dropped a lot of trees and branches in Acton. Please join me on Sunday April 8 at 2PM for a volunteer cleanup work party at Heath Hen Meadow Conservation Land.
