SUMMARY:Hack that Knotweed!
DESCRIPTION:Release your inner assassin! Help us destroy the Japanese Knotweed growing at the Acton Canoe Launch. We will meet 10AM to 1PM on Saturday June 24\, before the heat of the day. There is a chance of rain that day\, so call me if you are worried we have canceled the party. Knotweed is too hard to kill\, so our control plan is: Chop it to the ground several times a year\, and encourage other native plants so they will shade it out. We will be planting some small trees this time. Bring suitable clothing\, drinking water\, work glove\, and pruning  loppers\,  if you have them. Be prepared for some poison ivy.
